How have you met your Fiancé?
It's an interesting story. I had just gone to live in Richmond, Virginia and my roommate was built with a mutual friend which was Larry's (my hubby) friend. We all met up eventually just to spend time and Larry and I hit them back!
Tell us concerning the proposal!
The proposal was pretty intimate and special. We were built with a fun day prepared at a festival that people enjoyed each year. When we came home I visited change into my pajamas and sat around the couch. Larry was really on his laptop and that he asked me in the future over and appearance something out. This was normal in my experience because we always shared funny YouTube videos or funny things that people saw on social networking. He explained to sit down after which he began playing a PowerPoint presentation with music. He walked away to finish doing other activities in the house and I quickly started to notice that it had been a slideshow about him and me.
Towards the end of the slideshow, there are directions to show around where he was... on his knee asking me to marry him! As I was saying yes and bawling crying then he minimized the screen also it showed my loved ones on Skype. They saw everything and they were crying too, LOL.
How have you chosen the place for your wedding? What type of venue had you been looking for?
We always knew we wanted a little intimate wedding. More specifically, a destination wedding. We choose Jamaica because my maternal side comes from there. My family and I are accustomed to making a lot of visits to Jamaica, therefore it is only right that people got married there. It was very symbolic.
How have you decided on your bridesmaid dresses? Tell us about your experience at FeelTimes!
The versatility was something that I wanted for my bridesmaids simply because they all have a different physical structure. In addition to that, the gown could also then be utilized for these phones wear following the wedding. I examined FeelTimes online also it looked like an ideal boutique-style spot to get my dresses. It was built with a very intimate feel.
Who designed your wedding dress? Where have you got it?
I got my wedding dress from FeelTimes. I've always wanted a classic style boho wedding dress, so it had been perfect. I also could fit into the gown without any alterations… how amazing is the fact that?
What was your preferred part from the day?
I have a lot of favorite parts from the day, but I am getting at the first initial part was receiving notes from Larry once we were getting dressed for that wedding.
Then of course… walking on the aisle and seeing him standing there awaiting me! I told myself I wasn't likely to cry, but I really couldn't help it too!
What inspired you whenever you were planning your special day?
The biggest inspiration I had was simplicity for my wedding. I wouldn't like it to be overdone. I believed in doing everything therefore it allowed for any richer experience that I can remember vividly.
What advice have you got for other brides?
I would advise these phones to write down what's important for his or her wedding, this helps eliminate a lot from the influences we have seen now. There is a lot of different stuff that you can put in a wedding, but there is a lot of different stuff that you don't need to. Good memories are the most useful thing to consider away from the wedding day…so do what must be done to make sure that happens!
